I built a macOS driver for the discontinued Allen & Heath Xone:DB4. It brings the mixer back as a native 8-in / 8-out audio and MIDI interface on Apple Silicon and current macOS. Record your sets straight over USB, with no extra interface in the chain.
Allen & Heath's last driver was Intel-only and stopped working years ago. This is a clean user-space replacement: no kernel extension, no security settings to disable. Install it, plug in, done.

Students and hobbyists: $5 is genuinely fine. Working DJs and studios: $49 keeps the updates coming as macOS changes.

Installation
- Download and open XoneDB4-Driver.pkg.
- If macOS says the file is from an unidentified developer: right-click it and choose Open, or go to System Settings → Privacy & Security and click Open Anyway.
- Run through the installer and enter your Mac password. Core Audio restarts automatically.
- Connect the DB4 over USB and select Xone:DB4 in Audio MIDI Setup or your DAW.
What you capture is whatever the DB4's USB send is routed to on the mixer. To remove the driver later, run xone-db4-uninstall in Terminal.
