Privacy Policy

Last updated 9 September 2026

This policy explains what personal information Donny DB4 (“we”, “us”), a sole proprietorship based in Québec, Canada, collects through donnydb4.com and how we handle it. We keep this deliberately minimal.

1. What this site does and does not collect

The website itself sets no cookies and runs no analytics, advertising or tracking of any kind. We do not build profiles of visitors.

We collect personal information only in three situations:

2. Why we use it and our legal basis

We use the information above to: deliver the Software and provide support; process payments and issue receipts; keep the accounting and tax records required by law; and protect the site against abuse. Depending on where you live, our legal basis is performance of a contract with you, our legitimate interest in running a small business securely, your consent (for the contact form), and compliance with legal obligations.

3. Who we share it with

We share personal information only with the service providers needed to run the site, namely Stripe (payments), FormSubmit (contact-form delivery) and Hostinger (hosting). We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising or marketing by others.

4. International transfers

Stripe, FormSubmit and Hostinger may process data on servers outside Canada, including in the United States and the European Union. Where required, these transfers rely on the providers’ standard contractual protections.

5. How long we keep it

We keep contact-form correspondence for as long as needed to support you and, where it relates to a purchase, for the period we are required to retain business records (generally six years under Canadian tax rules). Sale records held for accounting and tax are kept for the same period. Server logs follow Hostinger’s retention schedule.

6. Your rights

You may ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to withdraw consent, by using the contact form. We will respond within the time required by applicable law. Residents of Québec (under Law 25), other Canadian provinces (under PIPEDA or provincial law), the EU/UK (GDPR) and California (CCPA/CPRA) have specific rights, which we will honour where they apply. You may also complain to your data-protection authority; in Québec this is the Commission d’accès à l’information.

7. Children

This site and the Software are not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

8. Changes

We may update this policy. The current version is always the one on this page, with the date shown above.

9. Contact

Privacy questions or requests: use the contact form.
